CHARSADDA: Gunmen killed three people including two brothers while kidnapped a girl over a family dispute on the first day of Eidul Azha here in the limits of Umarzai Police Station, official sources said.
One Amina Bibi, a resident of Tarangzai, told the police that she along with her husband, daughter and two nephews was going to a relative’s house on the first day ofEidul Azha when accused identified as Ziarat, Ashraf, Daud Jan, Salman and Naqeeb Khan opened fire at them near Gatu Pul. As a result, husband Subhanullah and nephews Wisal and Bilal died on the spot while the daughter Asia was kidnapped by the gunmen, she added.
The complainant said that her daughter was engaged to one of the accused Daud Jan some three years ago but father of the girl broke the engagement as he was not happy with it.
On her complaint, police registered a case against the accused under 365 and 324 sections of the law.
