LAHORE: Rights activist Asma Jahangir was a sign of hope and resistance against dictatorship, violence and injustice with the marginalized people of our society. Speakers said this at a memorial reference held in her memory by Sangat Development Foundation (SDF) held at the auditorium of Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Paying glorified tributes to Asma Jahangir, a one minute silence was observed by the participants.
Speakers said she was bigger than life, who contributed a lot to Pakistan’s jurisprudence and the legal fields.
