LAHORE – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has paid a visit to Jinnah Hospital and inquired about condition of the injured after blast in Gulshan Iqbal Park.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar, and Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah accompanied the prime minister. The death toll reported by early morning today stands at 72 while over 300 are injured who are under treatment in Shaikh Zayed Hospital and Jinnah Hospital.
The chief minister had earlier donated blood and visited a hospital last night after ambulances had shifted scores of wounded people to different medical care centres.
