KARACHI – In its fresh report, the joint investigation team (JIT) has made some shocking revelations about death of 258 people in 2012 factory fire in Karachi’s Baldia town, a private TV channel reported.

The JIT has suggested registration of a fresh first information report (FIR) against senior MQM leader Hammad Siddiqui and six others in connection with the incident.

Baldia factory owner makes stunning disclosures
The JIT revealed that MQM’s Rehman Bhola and Hammad Siddiqui had sought Rs200 million extortion from the factory owner. The report stated that the fire was a planned sabotage and terrorist activity.
